This book is part of the "On My Own History" series.  It tells the true story of fourteen year old John Darragh who was a spy during the American Revolution.  When the British occupied Philadelphia in 1777, spies kept General Washington informed about the movements of the British army.  It was a dangerous job which meant death if captured.  Young John Darragh undertakes a dangerous mission to deliver a message to the Americans.
