Cat's Meow - The Swan Tavern

Swan Tavern served the town of York, for over 140 years. The location of this tavern contributed to its success, being close to wharves and the court building. It was on the stage route, to Williamsburg and served travelers year round. The original building burned and was reconstructed, by the National Parks Service, in 1935.
