Cat's Meow - The Yorktown Victory Monument

This Cat's Meow Collectable depicts the Victory Monument in Yorktown, Virginia. On Oct. 29th, 1781 a resolution was passed by Congress to erect a monument to commemorate the victory at Yorktown. It was another 100 years before the funds were appropriated and the cornerstone was laid on Oct. 19, 1781 during the Centennial celebration. (Collection year 2004).
