400th Anniversary Commemorative Silver Proof. The Jamestown 400th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Progam included a silver dollar coin and a $5 gold coin. The coins were minted in Philadelphia, weigh 26.73 grams and have a diameter of 1.5 inches. Each coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The coins come in a blue velvet presentation box which is encased in a protective cardboard box. Each coin has a certificate of authenticity. The obverse side of the coin depicts the three cultures that came together at Jamestown and the reverse shows the three ships that brought the English settlers to Jamestown in 1607. Mintage limit of 500,000 coins.
