This Colonial Sampler is from the Posy Collection. Patterns and designs of samplers were handed down from one generation to the next. American samplers were worked by young girls to practice their embroidery stitches. Today, samplers are being revived as a reminder of our past. Finished size 7" by 7" on 11 count Charles Craft fabric. Includes thread and needle.
