Doll "Winganusk of the Powhatans"

This detailed cloth doll with a beautiful painted face represents a Powhatan Indian girl named Winganusk. Winganusk is dressed in a deer skin shift decorated with shells.  She carries ears of corn, the most important food crop of the Powhatan Indians.  Her arms and legs are decorated with tattoos.  Read more about Winganusk and her family in her book Winganusk of the Powhatans.  Informational text is included with the doll.
