In 1991 the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation commissioned and rebuilt the largest of the three ships, the Susan Constant. Some of the exotic purpleheart wood that was used to build the ribs of the ship was left over. This beautiful wooden pen was hand made from that wood from the building of the Susan Constant. Each pen was produced by a student of The Genesis Kids, a non-profit organization at Chickahominy Middle School. There were only 100 of these pens made. Each pen comes in its own handcrafted wooden box, is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Made in the USA.
