This print is a reproduction of an 1874 steel plate engraving in the intaglio style. The engraving itself is a reproduction of the celebrated painting by Alonzo Chappel. The color of Chappel's painting was carefully placed back into the original engraving. Mat fits to an 11 X 14 inch frame. A brief biography of Pocahontas is included.
