Pottery - Black Clay Pot

This black clay pot is handmade by Riverman and Redwing of the Mattaponi Indian Reservation.  Each piece is unique.  The pieces are hand-formed not turned on a pottery wheel.  The pot is decorated with a leather tie with beads and feathers.  Stands approximately 7 1/2" tall.   For decorative use only.
