"Sam the Minuteman"

The opening salvo of the American Revolution is told through the eyes of young boy as he would have experienced it. Sam's family lives on a farm in Lexington, Massachusetts.  One night his father wakes him up and tells him to get his gun because the British are coming.  Sam must overcome his fears in order to helps his countrymen fight for freedom.  Much is packed into this brief history.
