This story by award winning author Jean Fitz is based on the life of her great-great grandmother, Ann Hamilton.  Ann's family moved to the Western frontier of Pennsylvania in the early 1780's.  Ann is lonely since there are no other families for miles around.  She misses her old home in Gettysburg, until one day the Hamiltons receive a suprise visit from a very important guest, and Ann realizes there is nowhere she'd rather be than in the West.
