This doll is named James, a young English settler who is depicted carrying freshly-cut wood, and dressed in a costume authentic to the period.The doll is made of wood, like most dolls in the 17th century. Each doll is individually hand made, signed and dated by the artist, Mary Michaud. Doll measures 12 inches tall. Since 1985, Silhouette Doll Company has been making dolls in the coastal New England town of Westport, Massachusetts USA.
