TWO-HANDLED TYG MUG
For many centuries, beverages such as ale and spiced cider were werved in pottery mugs, as glass was expensive and glassmaking a difficult process. This tyg is a replica of the type of mug that was popular from the 16th to 19th centuries, as friends shared beverages at taverns and inns. Hand thrown earthenware pottery crafted by Henderson's Redware of Maine, this tyg is food safe, oven safe, microwave safe; hand washing is recommended. Measures 6" H x 3.75" W.
